Emptiness

I try to understand emptiness by honing away at solidity. A hand holds wood. Another hand holds a knife. A finger touches the wood to stabilize the blade as it shifts its placement upon the wood to bend away "something". The shavings pile up on the floor. Everything is in balance, nothing gained or lost; emptiness refocused, space redefined.
